Pondok Lestari is Kadidiri's shoestring stalwart: a handful of simple wooden bungalows (just 3–4) run by a local family on the same white-sand bay as Kadidiri Paradise and Black Marlin. Roughly Rp 150,000 per person per night gets you a bed with mosquito net, a hammock on the porch and three meals a day — usually fresh-caught fish — with private-bathroom bungalows costing a little more and OTA rates for a double running about US$24–42. Tea and coffee flow all day, the family picks guests up free from the Wakai ferry, and snorkeling starts off the beach. Be clear about what it is: four walls, a roof and the sea — no dive center (the two neighbours have them), no AC, no published wifi, and reviews split between guests who love the family warmth and seafood (Booking.com 8.7) and those who find it too rough-edged (Tripadvisor 3.9). Not to be confused with Lestari Cottages on Malenge.
