Poki Poki is one of the best-loved stays in the Bomba area: eight bamboo and wooden bungalows on a beach at the southern tip of Batudaka Island, about ten minutes by boat east of Bomba village. Every bungalow has a private bathroom, and all rates are genuinely all-inclusive — three meals a day plus coffee, tea and drinking water, from Rp 350,000 per person in the simple Bamboo Light up to Rp 750,000 in the family-sized Bamboo Villa and Villa Palola. The kitchen, run by local chef Mila, is the thing guests rave about most, and the Tripadvisor score (4.9 across 240 reviews, #1 in Bomba) backs it up. Expect rustic comfort: generator electricity in the evenings only, no wifi or phone signal, and cash (rupiah) only. There is no dive center on-site, but the resort sends divers to neighbouring Araya Dive Resort and runs its own snorkeling, canoe, jungle-trek and island-hopping trips.
