Bahia Tomini

Bahia Tomini is a four-cottage eco-resort on its own white-sand bay on Malenge Island, run by Spanish hosts Eva and Kike and capped at eight guests. The units are two seafront cottages (the 'Pink' and 'Blue'), a Bajo-style bungalow on stilts over the sea, and an 8x8 m Bajo villa with two terraces — all with sea views, private exterior western bathrooms, solar power with 24-hour electricity, and WiFi limited to one terrace behind the resort. Rates are per person with full board (three meals plus free-flow coffee, tea, water and snacks): Rp 750,000–900,000 in low season and Rp 850,000–1,000,000 in high season (July–September and mid-December to mid-January), with a three-day minimum stay and a 50% deposit by bank transfer. The house reef sits directly in front of the beach — baby reef sharks, turtles and eagle rays are regular sightings — and Reef No. 5 (Kadoda) is ten minutes away by boat. Fun dives cost Rp 650,000 with all equipment included, but only for certified divers; no courses are taught. The resort also runs snorkelling tours across the Togean reefs, jellyfish-lake swims, Bajo village visits to Pulau Papan and Kabalutan, Una Una volcano trips, and jungle treks after hornbills, tarsiers and coconut crabs.
